I would describe my work career as a memoir that I hope to write someday – “From the Crayon Box to the Cap and Gown … and Beyond!” I have welcomed students to kindergarten, handed them their diploma, sold them a home, attended their weddings and loved on their babies. This Circle of Life experience continues to be the reason that I work in real estate. The relationships that I have formed and lifelong friends I have made are truly precious to me!

I reluctantly retired from public education in 2003. I had a fulfilling career as a teacher, principal, assistant superintendent and even a short stint as a superintendent in my 21 years of service. I started real estate school on the day I retired.

I was associated with RE/MAX Space Center for twelve years before I decided to open my own brokerage. I gained valuable experience with RE/MAX and will always be grateful to my colleagues for their guidance and friendship. In 2016 I became Heart & Home Realty Group, LLC. My daughter and a couple of friends trusted me to know how to be a broker and together we have been serving buyers and sellers for over four years. We are a boutique agency devoted to providing professional service and personal care to our clients. Our success is based on referrals from past clients and networking that we do in our communities. We truly do put our whole hearts in the home buying process!

My dream as a little girl was to perform on Broadway. Little did I know then that I would fulfill that dream and so much more!

I was raised in the South Belt area and attended Clear Creek ISD schools. I was actively involved in theatre, choir, basketball, softball during my high school years. I also performed with Theatre Under the Stars where I had the opportunity to work with many Broadway greats. These experiences, and a couple of audition trips to the Big Apple, led me to a theatre degree and finally to NYC for a five year unforgettable experience!

In 2001 my husband Todd and I decided to move home and start a family. We left the week after the fatal 911 tragedy, another experience that I will never forget. Back in Houston we bought a home, started a family and adjusted to suburban life again. After the birth of my precious Noah, now a 17 year old young man, I started a teaching career. After a brief move to Katy our now family of four settled in Fulshear, our country home in the city! Riley Lane Shipp rounded out our family in 2008.

A Houston native with over 30 years real estate experience, Lynn can assist you in all your residential real estate endeavors. Lynn understands what it is like to stand in her clients shoes. Relocating many times – buying and selling houses of her own – has afforded her the first-hand perspective she gained through her personal experience.

Being a lifelong Houstonian, she has experience in all areas of Houston, including Spring, River Oaks, Heights, Pasadena, Clear Lake, Friendswood and Pearland. Lynn is a resident of Pearland with her husband, Jack and their kitty “Divya”. They have three children and 8 grand children and enjoy traveling in their RV. Lynn is an avid crafter and enjoys making items for her ladies groups, family and friends.

I have been a League City resident since 1989 and have seen so many changes and growth in this area. I moved here from Redondo Beach, California to be closer to family and help my husband start his veterinarian practice. I am a business graduate of Oklahoma State University and worked for Phillips Petroleum Company, TEC America and State Farm Insurance before becoming a full time stay at home mom and raising my two girls. I love to play tennis, snow ski and make candles. We have one dog and two cats – all rescues.

Small West Texas town girl to small West Houston town resident, I’m a true born and raised Texan. After I graduated high school in 1998, I headed off to college at Texas Tech University where I majored in Elementary Education. I taught 4th and 5th grade in Katy, Texas. 

In 2002 I married my husband, Marcus, and we’ve been married 19 years!  We moved to Katy, Texas where we planted our roots. I worked in education for 4 years before we welcomed our first son, Mason, to our family. Then 2 1/2 years later, Madelyn joined our family!  We were now a complete family of 4!  

I’ve always loved Real Estate!  I would find myself searching HAR looking at the different and unique homes for sale. I also loved to walk through model homes for creative ideas for my own home. Several years ago my husband and I decided to purchase several homes to be rentals. Now, today we own 4 rentals, and a Boat and RV storage business. I finally knew it was time to pursue Real Estate and get my License. I love being a part of others American Dream wether it’s purchasing their own home or pursuing investment opportunities in Real Estate.

My hope is to continue this career path as long as I’m able!  I love nothing more than to see the joy buying your new home brings to friends, family, and my clients!
