WHICH BULBS ARE BETTER FOR LIGHTING THROUGHOUT THE HOME?

Client Question: “Which bulbs are better for lighting throughout the home, Daylight or Soft White?”

Great question, and our answer is…Soft White! ?

The color of the lights you install matters because different colors have different functions.

?  Soft white is warm and yellow, the typical color range you get from incandescent bulbs. This light gives a warm and cozy feeling and is often best for living rooms, dens and bedrooms.

?  Daylight has a more bluish tone. This light color will maximize contrast for colors, making it ideal for working, reading or applying makeup.

At the end of the day, each person’s unique preference will determine which color they use, and where. Our recommendation is to use Soft White throughout the home prior to listing!
